Regional Workshops
As part of the Youth Sport Trust’s continued support to Subject Leaders in Sports Colleges, we are delighted to offer twelve regional workshops during the summer term.
The main focus of these workshops will be self review where you will have the opportunity to reflect upon your current practice as a leader and that of your department and staff.
The workshops will aim to provide you with:
- An understanding of the importance of self evaluation
- An understanding of the whole school SEF and how departmental self evaluation can contribute to this
- An opportunity to share practice around departmental self evaluation
- Tools to enable you to extend your self evaluation practices
- An opportunity to review your own, and your departments, skills and abilities to enable you to assess how you can best utilise them for the benefit of your team
- A clearer picture of the development needs of your department and the various sources of support available to you to address these needs.
In addition, there will be an opportunity to address any areas of work that have been identified locally by Subject Leaders as a development priority.
