Peer Mentors
Everyone needs a buddy sometimes and through peer mentors we are using members of the network to support their colleagues when they face real challenges. Equally, partnerships which have real strengths in key areas are being deployed to help other partnerships.

Unique challenges require a unique solution, which is why we use innovative tools and programmes to help you when you most need it.
Advanced Practitioner Seminars
Some SSPs are leading the way in their area of work, and advanced practitioner seminars provide a showcase for this success and also opportunities for others to learn from it. They are a great opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and understanding and often involve pre-course tasks and follow-up activity.

Good communication is the key to success, which is why we provide a range of networking opportunities for you. The five types of networking are:
Conferences
The School and Sport Partnerships' Conference is held in November. It is a national event which helps PDMs learn from their colleagues across the country. Find out more about the School and Sport Partnerships Conference.

General Networking
- Opportunities for networking for people in SSPs (up to two representatives from each - e.g. PDM, SSCo, PLT, Competition Manager, Secondary Head of PE).
- Opportunities for SSCo’s to network locally, delivered through County Sport Partnerships.
Focused Networking
- Opportunities tailored for competition managers and SSPs with special schools hosting an SSCo.
Field Visits
Most SSPs find it valuable to visit other partnerships and our field visits provide an opportunity for them to do this.
Learning Together
Often SSPs are facing the same challenges. To help them find the solution we offer network learning communities and development projects - opportunities for SSPs to work together to address specific issues.
