County Seminars
Overview:
The seminars will be a blend of national structure and content along with locally developed structure to compliment.
49 (one per CSP) SSCo County Seminars facilitated at CSP level with support from the Youth Sport Trust. CSPs will use the networking opportunity to develop understanding and enhance partnership working.
Outcomes:
- The SSCo will have an in depth understanding of the national messages relayed at the S&SP Conference.
- The SSCo will have reviewed and checked their own understanding of the role of a SSCo.
- The SSCo will have an enhanced understanding their role within the five hour offer.
- The SSCo will have a greater understanding of how Intra-School Competition can support the five hour offer.

School Sport Co-ordinator National Induction
Overview:
To familiarise the SSCo with the national expectations of School Sport Partnerships and enable the SSCo to develop an understanding of their role against these expectations and in relation to local needs within their family/partnership.
Outcomes:
- To enable the SSCo to understand the context, structure and principles of School Sport Partnerships.
- To enable the SSCo to understand his or her role.
- To understand their role and the roles of others in the infrastructure.
- To enable the SSCo to understand the range of networks and relationships that can support PESSYP.
- To enable the SSCo to understand the partnership planning processes cycle.
- To highlight the challenges / competencies in relation to the SSCo within the five hour offer.
- To have identified some key priorities to meet the role of the SSCo.
Who is it for:
SSCos that are new into post.
