By September 2007 all School Sport Partnerships will have had the opportunity to access Big Lottery funding for OSHL activities. It is targeted at young people who are most disadvantaged, disaffected or currently not participating. This includes additional monies for those partnerships that have expanded where new SSCO Clusters have been added.
The purpose of the programme is to provide learning activities to encourage & motivate targeted groups of pupils, build their self-esteem & help them reach higher standards of achievement across the curriculum.
The key criteria for the programme can be downloaded here.
